Madonna Admits to Casting Spell on Dallas Austin

In some “scratch your head” news, Madonna stirred up some drama while on her Celebration Tour in Atlanta. She revealed wild details about her past situation with a legendary music producer. Without holding back, the 65-year-old singer confessed to being head over heels for the producer during the recording of her 1994 album, "Bedtime Stories," only to be treated poorly in return. She then publicly put the producer on blast, before later identifying him as… Dallas Austin.

Madonna then admits to having spells cast on Dallas in an attempt to have the feelings become mutual between them. Reflecting on her time working on the album, Madonna reminisced about collaborating with incredible musicians but didn't shy away from revealing the rollercoaster of emotions she experienced, having just ended a brief relationship with Tupac Shakur and Dennis Rodman.

Ye Accused of Sampling Underground Producer TSVI Without Permission

Underground dance music producer TSVI, also known as Anunaku, has accused Kanye West of sampling his music without consent. TSVI alleges that West used a portion of his 2016 track "12345678" in West's 2021 song "Believe What I Say" without proper authorization. Expressing frustration over what he views as a lack of accountability for artists like West, TSVI highlighted the power dynamics in the industry, where independent producers often find themselves at a disadvantage compared to major artists with extensive resources.

Despite TSVI's efforts to address the issue publicly and seek acknowledgment for his work, Kanye West and his team have not responded to the allegations.

The Sopranos’ Theme Song Co-Writer Confesses To Never Watching the Show

Larry Love, co-writer of "Woke Up This Morning," the iconic theme song of "The Sopranos," made a surprising revelation to BBC, admitting that he has never actually watched the show. Despite the track's integral role in the series, Love confessed to avoiding it due to his aversion to listening to his own music, citing his perfectionist tendencies. The song, featured in all 86 episodes, was inspired by a real-life moment experienced by the show's creator, David Chase, while driving along the New Jersey Turnpike. Chase found the lyrics fitting for the complex relationship between Tony Soprano and his mother, reflecting on the show's enduring legacy as one of his greatest achievements.

T-Minus Discusses the Process of Making J. Cole's '7 Minute Drill'

Producer T-Minus delves into the backstory of J. Cole's diss track "7 Minute Drill," revealing that the title originates from Cole's penchant for rapid writing exercises. Speaking at a Dreamville Festival panel, T-Minus explains that Cole often engages in seven-minute writing drills to test his lyrical and creative prowess, a practice that extends to production challenges as well. While the track's title suggests a quick creation process, T-Minus clarifies that Cole actually took slightly longer, requesting additional time to refine his verses. Notably, the song has sparked attention for its lyrics, with Cole reportedly taking shots at Kendrick Lamar amid their ongoing feud, stemming from past diss tracks exchanged between the two artists.

Recently though, J. Cole apologized during his performance at the Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, expressing regret for releasing the track, acknowledging that it didn't align with his values.
