Just Blaze Unearths Unreleased Slaughterhouse Tracks from 'Glass House' Album

Producer extraordinaire Just Blaze delighted fans by unveiling two previously unreleased tracks from the Slaughterhouse album, "Glass House." This rare find was prompted by the passing of legendary producer The 45 King. Slaughterhouse, comprised of Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5'9, and Crooked I, left a lasting impact on hip-hop. However, Just Blaze's decision to share this hidden gem, wasn’t received well by Joe Budden.

Busta Rhymes Enlists Star-Studded Team of Producers for Upcoming Album 'Blockbusta'

Busta Rhymes has unveiled his co-executive producers, a stellar lineup including Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, and Busta himself, for his forthcoming album, "Blockbusta," set to drop on November 24. The rapper announced that his 10th studio album will be released through his imprint The Conglomerate Entertainment, distributed by Epic/Sony. In a video, each of the executive producers expressed their excitement and gratitude for the collaboration. While the album's featured artists remain undisclosed, Rhymes has already released several collaborations this year, including "Beach Ball" and "Luxury Life." Rhymes last released an album in 2020, titled "Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God."

Q-Tip Joins 'Ali' Musical as Music Producer and Co-Lyricist for Muhammad Ali's Story

Renowned rapper and producer Q-Tip has teamed up with the creative minds behind the upcoming musical "Ali," based on the life of boxing legend Muhammad Ali. This musical will debut in the fall of 2024 in Ali's hometown, Louisville, at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, with plans to hit Broadway in 2025. Q-Tip joins an impressive lineup, including composer Teddy Abrams, director Clint Dyer, and associate music producer Casey Benjamin, under lead producer Richard Willis. Q-Tip expressed his excitement in contributing to this project that tells the story of the great Muhammad Ali, a lifelong inspiration for him.

FL Studio 21.2 Update Unveils Stem Separation

Image-Line has rolled out a substantial FL Studio 21.2 update, enhancing the creative process for music makers. This release introduces FL Cloud, an evolving library featuring royalty-free loops, exclusive Artist Packs, AI-powered mastering, and seamless music distribution to major streaming platforms through DistroKid. The update also delivers the long-awaited Stem Separation feature, enabling users to extract individual instrument and vocal tracks from audio sources within the digital audio workstation. Additionally, a new vintage synthesizer, Kepler, and an improved colored waveform feature are included. Existing FL Studio users can access this update for free, with various FL Cloud subscription options available.

Jean-Michel Basquiat Estate to Release Limited Edition 'Beat Bop' Records Featuring His Artwork

The estate of renowned artist Jean-Michel Basquiat is set to release 50 original copies of "Beat Bop," a hip-hop record produced by Basquiat in 1983, featuring his artwork on the cover. These limited editions will be made available to the public for $4,000 each, significantly less than the six-figure prices original copies have fetched. The first copy will be auctioned to benefit the nonprofit A Place Called Home, providing opportunities for at-risk youth in South Los Angeles to explore the visual arts, music, and performing arts. The auction will run from November 10 to November 17, with the winning bidder also receiving a private tour of Basquiat's exhibition.
